Canadian director Shawn Levy, known for directing Deadpool & Wolverine, has addressed rumours of Taylor Swift starring in the upcoming Marvel film. Speculation around the singer’s involvement in the new film has been growing, with many suggesting that she could make an appearance as superhero Dazzler. However, Levy remained tight-lipped when pressed about the rumours, stating that he would “literally walk out of the frame” to avoid Reynolds taking revenge on him.

Levy was asked by Entertainment Tonight about his attendance at a football game last year, which many have interpreted as being linked to rumours of Swift’s appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine. When questioned about the rumours and whether there was any truth to them, Levy simply stated that “all that’s known is that I went to a football game, and those hours were well-documented and that’s all I’m gonna say. What can I say? I think intrigue is fun.”

Despite Reynolds dismissing rumours of Swift’s involvement in the new film, fans continue to speculate over the possibility. Speaking about the use of Swift’s house in the “All Too Well” short film in Deadpool & Wolverine promo, Reynolds stated that if they were to shoot the next Deadpool film in their house, then that would be considered the location. Reynolds has also stated that he is open to the prospect of Swift appearing in future films.

In other Swift news, the singer has shared her approval of Ryan Gosling’s performance on Saturday Night Live, where he sang a reworked version of “All Too Well” alongside Emily Blunt. Swift praised the performance on social media, stating that the monologue was “everything”. Swift is set to release her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department” later this week
