Pet Shop Boys have announced a gig at London’s Koko in May to celebrate the release of their new album, ‘Nonetheless.’ The show, in association with Rough Trade, will see the band play a 90-minute set. Fans can purchase tickets to the event from April 15th. Pet Shop Boys are also set to play five shows at London’s Royal Opera House this July, in addition to their ‘Dreamworld’ Greatest Hits tour, set to take place in June 2024. To coincide with the album’s release, fans can pre-order ‘Nonetheless,’ to access pre-sale tickets for the Royal Opera House gigs.
The new album features lead single ‘Loneliness’ and released on April 26, with producer James Ford. Speaking about their latest creation, Pet Shop Boys explained in a statement: “We wanted this album to be a celebration of the unique and diverse emotions that make us human.”
During an appearance on BBC Radio 2, the duo played their new single ‘Loneliness,’ their classic hit ‘Left to My Own Devices,’ and a cover of David Bowie’s ‘All the Young Dudes.’ The five special gigs at Royal Opera House are part of the album’s celebrations, with a previously announced Dreamworld Greatest Hits tour to also kick off in June 2024.
