Excitement is brewing as the 3rd free indieplaza festival approaches in New York City on April 20th. Co-presented by Rockefeller Center, the festival is set to celebrate Record Store Day with an impressive lineup of artists, merchandise booths, food, drinks, and fun activities for all ages.
Live music will kick off midday at 12 pm, featuring the NYC debut of Indiana band Wishy and culminating in a headlining set from Dehd ahead of the release of their new album Poetry. DJ sets will be performed by Nancy Whang, Sunrisa Disco, and Dave the Spazz (WFMU Radio). Exciting activities are happening throughout the day, including a voter registration drive by HeadCount, DIY family activities by WASTOIDS, artist merchandise booths, and a pop-up booth for Rough Trade Used Records.
