More details released of Queen Anne Naming Ceremony

Cunard has released further details about the Naming Ceremony of its latest vessel, Queen Anne. The event will take place on Monday, 3 June, during its introductory voyage around the British Isles. The ceremony will occur on the Mersey waterfront and Queen Anne is expected to arrive just after sunrise, which makes it the most awaited port call of the exclusive 14-night voyage. Tens of thousands of spectators will gather along the river at Pier Head, between New Brighton and Seacombe on Wirral and on beaches at Formby and Crosby in Sefton. besides the live global broadcast.

The ceremony will start from 4pm, led by TV personalities Emma and Matt Willis who are expected to host the event. They will be joined by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, delivering a one-of-a-kind celebratory performance. Queen Anne will be a spectacular sight as it leaves for its biggest sail away party ever following the celebration in Liverpool.
