The female DJ collective Girls Don’t Sync has recently announced the launch of their debut edit pack, named ‘4×4′. Through the all-female DJs’ shared inspiration and cultural influence, they created the digital release that aims to showcase the collective creativity and energy found in their sets. The “club-ready” edit carefully extracts elements from their DJ sets, featuring nostalgic remixes of popular tracks such as Rihanna’s ‘SOS’ and ‘Get Out My Head’ by Redlight, as well as breaks and vocals that perfectly represent their energetic sound.
In the eyes of Girls Don’t Sync, the release of ‘4×4’ shows their growth in music creation and emphasizes their vision to create a secure and inclusive environment within the world of music. The UKG, house, and bass genre-spanning DJ collective comprises Matty Chiabi, Sophia Violet, Hannah Lynch, and G33, who had first formed the group with the goal of bringing more inclusivity and positive energy to the dance floors in 2021.
Coming together in what they describe as “perfect chaos,” the collections of tracks in ‘4×4’ solidify the group’s “body of ever-growing sound.” The group has announced that they are scheduled to perform at various festivals, including Gottwood, Parklife, Love Saves the Day, and GALA Festival.
‘4×4’ is now available for download via Bandcamp, and a preview of the edit pack is available on Soundcloud, complete with copyright filters. Through this release, Girls Don’t Sync showcased their love for music and shared their energy and creativity with the world. It is an excellent move for the group in their journey, leaving their audience excited and eager for their upcoming performances
