After a high volume of ticket repayments, a “very limited” number of tickets for the Glastonbury Festival will be up for grabs this month. Although no official announcement has been made about the actual figure, festival organiser Emily Eavis did let us know that the percentage of ticket balances paid this year was at an all-time high.
Glastonbury has announced that the official resale dates for 2024 tickets will be on Sunday, April 21, when general entry tickets will go on resale starting at 9:AM BST, followed by accommodation options shortly after at 11:AM. General admission tickets that include coach travel will go back on sale on Thursday, April 18, at 6:PM BST. It is important to note that resale tickets will only be available via See Tickets, as Glastonbury confirmed on its official website.
The resale is an opportunity for those who missed out on the first batch of tickets to purchase them, as well as for those who may have cancelled or refunded their tickets. The festival has not disclosed the full capacity for the 2024 event, but it’s estimated to be around 210,000 people. Realistically, purchasing tickets during the resale can be a bit of a challenge due to the high demand, but it’s worth a shot if you’re determined to go.
