K-drama fans, mark your calendars! Netflix has finally announced the premiere date for the long-delayed K-drama series, Goodbye Earth. According to Netflix K-Content’s account on X, the show will be launched on April 26, 2004. The drama is an adaptation of Kotaro Isaka’s novel, The Fool At The End Of The World. It stars Ahn Eun-jin and Jeon Sung-woo, among others.

Yoo was initially cast as the lead actor in Goodbye Earth, but it’s currently unclear whether he will still appear in the show.
However, prior to the controversy, Yoo starred in two other Netflix original productions, including 2022 film Seoul Vibe and 2021 K-drama Hellbound. The latter’s second season is scheduled to premiere this year, with Kim Sung-cheol taking over Yoo’s role.
Goodbye Earth follows the lives of four individuals after the human population is informed that an asteroid will collide with earth in 200 days. In addition to Goodbye Earth, Netflix also released the first trailer for its upcoming original Korean reality show, Super Rich in Korea. The show is hosted by GOT7’s BamBam, OH MY GIRL singer Mimi, and comedian Cho Sae-ho
