NCT’s Doyoung has revealed the tracklist for his debut solo album, titled ‘Youth,’ which will feature collaborations with Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and fellow NCT member Mark Lee. The album, set to be released on April 22, will include 10 tracks and will showcase the singer’s feelings and emotions while reflecting on the experiences of young people.
The album will feature high-profile collaborators such as South Korean hitmaker Kenzie, who has worked on Red Velvet’s ‘Chill Kill’ and Nayeon’s ‘Pop!’, and Jo-Won-sang of LUCY. Lee wrote the lyrics for his joint effort with Doyoung, ‘Time Machine.’
NCT’s Doyoung will be the third member of the group to pursue a solo career, following in the footsteps of Taeyong and Ten. He made his debut in K-pop as part of NCT sub-group NCT U in April 2016 and has contributed to several popular K-drama soundtracks.
In related news, RIIZE, labelmates of Doyoung’s, announced their debut mini-album ‘RIIZING,’ which is expected to release in June. The group also revealed plans to drop several singles leading up to the project’s arrival. Aespa also collaborated with TOKiMONSTA, a Korean-American DJ, on a new song called ‘Die Trying’ for the soundtrack of Netflix’s upcoming movie ‘Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.’ The sequel is the follow-up to director Zack Snyder’s 2023 film ‘Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child Of Fire.’
