Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that he won’t endorse President Joe Biden for the upcoming US elections. In the previous election, Johnson had endorsed Biden as his first-ever public political endorsement, believing that he and Kamala Harris were the best people to lead America. However, Johnson has changed his stance, deciding not to make any endorsements during this election.

In an interview with Fox News, Johnson explained that he had used his influence four years ago to share his endorsement of Biden but said that he’d no longer be doing the same in 2021. Although he expressed his disappointment with America’s current state, he chose to keep his politics to himself. “Like a lot of us out there, not trusting of all politicians, I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for that is my president and who I will support 100%.”

Recently, Johnson revealed that he had been approached several times to run for the US presidency. A poll conducted in 2021 of 30,000 American adults led to him being contacted about running for president at the end of 2022. However, Johnson openly shared that his goal has never been to be in politics and has a lot of hate towards it.
