Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello announces intimate London solo show

Tom Morello is set to perform an intimate solo show in London for the summer, ahead of his festival tour in the UK and Europe. The renowned guitarist from Rage Against The Machine will take to the stage at the Electric Ballroom in Camden Town on June 13, accompanied by some special guests yet to be disclosed. The gig has a capacity of 1,500 seats, and tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, April 5, from 10 am BST, through Ticketmaster UK. Fans can also access an O2 Priority pre-sale the same time tomorrow or a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday.

Morello’s London show will be followed by his UK and European tour starting on the 15th of June at Download 2024 Festival. Morello’s latest two studio albums, ‘The Atlas Underground Fire’ and ‘The Atlas Underground Flood’ were released in late 2021. He teamed up with Måneskin on their single ‘Gossip’ last year.

While Morello has enjoyed solo success, some fans are eagerly anticipating a return of the band that made him famous internationally. In January, Brad Wilk, drummer of Rage Against The Machine, announced that the band “will not be touring or playing live again” together. RATM’s last live performance was in August 2022 when their North American ‘Public Service Announcement Tour’ came to an end.

The tour, which featured the popular support act Run The Jewels, had several hiccups, including frontman Zack de la Rocha injuring his Achilles tendon during its second date, which meant he had to carry on with shows while seated before the final cancellation of their UK and European dates. In February, bassist Tim Commerford said he didn’t know if the band had broken up. “I don’t know,” he explained at the time. “I don’t get involved in that.”

Music lovers who have been eagerly anticipating a Tom Morello show in London won’t want to miss this opportunity to see the musician perform his solo material, along with some yet-to-be-named guests, at the Electric Ballroom on June 13. The concert is expected to draw in a crowd of 1,500, and tickets will be released on Ticketmaster UK on April 5. Alternatively, fans can access an O2 Priority pre-sale at the same time tomorrow or a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday
