Azealia Banks gave her thoughts on the album, previously criticising Beyoncé’s new musical direction, which she referred to as “white women cosplay.” Banks also commented that Beyoncé was setting herself up to be ridiculed. RAYE has recently hit out at industry executives for underpaying songwriters while taking large profits for themselves, following her record-breaking BRIT Awards victory. She also performed on Saturday Night Live.
