The O’Keefe Music Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Ohio, has released a viral video featuring a group of talented kids singing Nine Inch Nails’ popular 1992 track ‘Wish.’ The cover, which also features a backing band of adults, stays true to the original song that was first released on NIN’s debut EP ‘Broken.’ ‘Wish’ won a Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 1993 and played a significant role in establishing the band’s future industrial direction.

In other NIN news, Trent Reznor reflected on the 30th-anniversary release of the band’s classic album, ‘The Downward Spiral.’. “Has it really been that long, old friend? I just spent an hour listening to this time capsule of what 28-year-old me had to say, and it still excites me and breaks my heart,” Reznor wrote on social media. However, rumors hint that Reznor and Atticus Ross, his regular soundtrack collaborator, may collaborate with video game designer Hideo Kojima on a new project following a photo posted of the three accomplished artists together in January.

Kojima, who currently develops Death Stranding 2 and is involved in the forthcoming Death Stranding movie, has worked with Reznor and Ross on various film scores in the past, including Soul, Gone Girl, and The Social Network. Despite these successes, Reznor recently confirmed that he is not interested in touring again in the future. “I don’t want to miss their [children’s] lives to go do a thing that I’m grateful to be able to do, and I’m appreciative that you’re here to see it, but I’ve done it a lot, you know?” he admitted in an interview with Rick Rubin’s podcast.

Reznor also revealed a softer side, confessing that he was moved to tears while listening to Dua Lipa’s song ‘Levitating,’ lauding it as a “really well done piece of music.” As Reznor continues to make strides as a musician and soundtrack composer, fans eagerly anticipate what future projects he might work on, either as a solo artist or with his former band mates
