Here’s every song on the ‘Road House’ remake soundtrack

Road House, the classic 1989 action film starring Patrick Swayze, is set to receive a reboot with Jake Gyllenhaal atop a star-studded cast. The updated version, which will be directed by Doug Liman (known for Edge Of Tomorrow and The Bourne Identity), follows the story of UFC fighter Elwood Dalton, portrayed by Gyllenhaal, who takes a job as a bouncer in a Florida Keys roadhouse filled with nefarious characters.

Alongside Gyllenhaal, the cast of the film boasts a range of big names, including Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor, J.D. Pardo, Arturo Castro, Lukas Gage and Billy Magnussen. While the narrative of the upcoming film shares many key aspects with the original, fans can still expect plenty of twists and turns to be thrown in the mix.

Christophe Beck, who previously worked with Liman on Edge of Tomorrow and American Made, has composed the score for Road House. Beck’s portfolio also includes several film and television credits, such as The Muppets, Ant-Man, Free Guy, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

A key element of the film’s promotional campaign has been the soundtrack. The reboot features songs by a range of artists, including one from Post Malone, who also has a role in the film, entitled ‘Horsepower’. The other songs that appear in the movie include Ridin Around by Jelly Joseph, You Got to Be a Man by Natalie Bergman and Friends, Johnny Too Bad by Natalie Bergman and Friends, Kokomo by The Beach Boys, Enter Sandman by Rina Sawayama, Praise The Lord by Breland, Keep on Smilin’ and I Got Loaded by Rockin’ Dopsie Jr and The Zydeco Twisters, You’ll Lose a Good Thing by Rockin’ Dopsie Jr and The Zydeco Twisters, What I Got by Jelly Joseph, So Right by Rafa Carbonell feat. Max Silver, Body Wan Shake by Fred Motif and Magugu, Jukebox Songs by Tommy McLain, Poke Chop by CC Adcock and The Lafayette Marquis, Florida Thang by Pouya, I’m Gonna Get You Pt. 2 by GC Cameron, Island Candy by Ruwanga Samath, and Stealin All Day by CC Adcock and The Lafayette Marquis.

Fans of the original Road House can enjoy the updated version, which is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. While some aspects of the film may be different, audiences will be treated to a compelling narrative, a talented cast, and a vibrant soundtrack that perfectly complements the atmosphere and tone of the movie
