EXIT Festival has announced a line-up of new additions set to perform at its NSNS and MTS’ Dance arenas in 2024. The festival will be held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Now Sad, Serbia from July 10-14. The globally celebrated Carl Cox will headline the MTS Dance Arena on opening night, performing alongside Berlin’s Klangkuenstler, Franky Wah, Mene, and Sama’ Abdulhadi. Maceo Plex is also scheduled to deliver a hypnotic deep house and intense techno set on Saturday, followed by performances from I Hate Models, Patrick Mason, Lanna, Desna, and Katalina in a cross-genre set.
On the final night, Black Coffee will play a set on the MTS stage with a spectrum of international acts including Bonobo, Barry Can’t Swim, Carlita, Mose, and Belgrade duo INNĒR SENSE. EXIT’s open-air stage NSNS, in partnership with Heineken Silver, will feature Sara Landry, Yotto, OGUZ, and Estella Boersma, among others. Francis Mercier is set to deliver an eclectic set to NSNS audiences, while Helena Hauff is expected to bring a “raw, hypnotic atmosphere” to the decks. Urban Bug, one of the festival’s smaller stages, will feature exclusive b2b sets from the likes of 2 Much b2b Vein, Hudi b2b Aljoša, Layzie b2b Techa, Migazz b2b Kornwall, Milenko b2b Arnee.
The major European festival, which was first founded in 2000, plays host to a plethora of genres each year. The huge festival welcomed more than 1000 artists across 40 stages, and reports suggest that 2024’s edition is to be the best electronic music edition so far, according to founder and director Dušan Kovačevi. Other headline acts for 2024 include Gucci Mane, Rudimental, and Black Eyed Peas, with Friday’s surprise line-up still yet to be announced.
EXIT festival takes place across five locations in four countries each year, including Ada Divine Awakening and Sea Dance Festival in Montenegro, Sea Star Festival in Croatia, No Sleep Festival in Belgrade, Revolution Festival in Romania, and Sunland in Bulgaria. The festival was previously proclaimed “Best Major European Festival” at the EU Festival Awards in both 2013 and 2017.
