The second season of popular Netflix series “Physical: 100” has become the most-watched non-English reality show on the streaming service. According to data shared by Netflix, the new season of the Korean reality show recorded 6.1 million views with over 25.3 million hours viewed from March 18 to 24, just over a week after its premiere. Along with this feat, it has also emerged as the fourth most-watched series overall on the platform.
“Physical: 100” has charted in the top 10 of more than 80 countries where Netflix is available and has secured the number one spot in South Korea and Singapore. Other Korean shows in the top ten this week include “Queen of Tears,” “Doctor Slump,” and “Chicken Nugget.”
Meanwhile, Netflix’s upcoming K-drama series “Resident Playbook” has been delayed until the second half of 2024, a spin-off of “Hospital Playlist.” The show was originally set to start airing on May 11 on South Korean network tvN.
In February, Netflix unveiled “Resident Playbook” as part of its 2024 lineup, along with several other notable Korean shows and movies. Other anticipated shows include new seasons of “Hellbound” and “Squid Game,” in addition to original scripted shows such as “The Frog” and “Hierarchy.
