Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson have welcomed their first child together. The couple was spotted out in Los Angeles this week with a pram, as shown in pictures shared by The Daily Mail. Their engagement was announced in 2018, and Waterhouse announced her pregnancy in November 2022 at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City.
During her music performance, Waterhouse uncovered her bump and told the crowd, “I’m extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on”. She then opened her coat to reveal her baby bump, to which the audience reacted with cheers. “I’m not sure if it’s working,” she joked before beginning her performance.
The sequel to The Batman franchise which starred Pattinson as the DC superhero was recently given a release update. The movie was initially set to release on October 3, 2024. However, delays caused by the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes last year mean that the release date has been pushed back to October 2, 2026.
The first movie in the Gotham superhero’s iteration, directed by Matt Reeves, was a success, garnering generally positive reviews and grossing more than £601million ($770million) at the box office. The movie, which featured an ensemble cast including Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, and Jeffrey Wright, received three Academy Award nominations, including Best Visual Effects.
NME gave the movie a four-star review with praises for its mix of gritty mob drama and film-noir detective genre. The review said, “most of the time, it comes off brilliantly”. The portrayal of Catwoman by Kravitz was also applauded. She was called “perfect” for the role, with Reeves giving her a proper backstory told through seedy nightclubs and abandoned construction sites
