The annual UNTOLD music festival is set to go ahead this summer in the city of Cluj-Napoca in Romania, and the latest acts set to perform alongside headliners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Alok, and Lost Frequencies have been announced. Since its launch in 2015, the festival has been known for featuring both electronic and live acts, with past editions seeing the likes of Armin van Buuren, Avicii, and David Guetta take to the stage.
The four-day festival will feature more than 250 local and international electronic acts across eight stages, starting on August 8 and running until August 11. Headlining acts Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Lost Frequencies, and Alok are all set to make a return appearance, with German disco artist Purple Disco Machine, who has never previously performed at UNTOLD, also on the lineup.
Legendary UK DJ Carl Cox is set to make his UNTOLD debut with a hybrid live set, having discovered a passion for live performance in recent years. He will be joined by Solomun and Grammy-nominated Australian DJ and producer FISHER on the festival’s Galaxy stage. The festival promises immersive stages with incredible production design, drawing on music, art, and culture references, as well as stories from Romanian folklore.
