FX’s critically acclaimed show, The Bear, has been renewed for a third season, with the network confirming it in November 2023. President of FX Entertainment, Nick Grad, praised the show for becoming “a cultural phenomenon” and commended the cast, creative team, and partners at Hulu for their contribution to the success of the show.
Fans of The Bear can expect season three to release in June 2024 in the US, as confirmed by FX’s Chairman, John Landgraf, during the Television Critics Association press tour. It is yet to be confirmed whether all episodes of the show will be released at once.
Following the show’s focus on a new restaurant for the second season, season three is expected to revisit the functioning kitchen atmosphere from season one. Lead actor, Jeremy Allen White, revealed in an interview that the third season will feature a new menu set that has been prepared with the help of several chefs. Additionally, Ayo Edebiri who plays Sidney will also be directing an episode in the third season.
There are potential plans for season four to be filmed back to back with season three in Chicago, according to Deadline. However, this has not yet been confirmed by FX.
