British DJ and producer Randomer recently released a highly-anticipated rework of Voin Oruwu’s 2020 track ‘Identify’. All of the proceeds from the remix will go to Ukrainian charities. The original track, which has been a fixture in clubs in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv for years, was transformed by Randomer, who spent much of the time making the remix in Kyiv itself.
In an Instagram post, Randomer said that he finished the remix in Kyiv on February 23, 2022, and the next morning he and his partner woke up to the sound of Russian bombs signalling the start of the full-scale war. This release follows yet another contribution from the electronic music community to support Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia. Randomer’s latest remix will not only offer a fresh take on a beloved Kyiv anthem but will also help support Ukraine during a crucial time. By donating all the proceeds to Ukrainian charities, Randomer is helping to support the country and its people during a challenging period.
It’s essential to see how the electronic music community has come together to help with relief and aid efforts in Ukraine. Their contributions not only offer financial help, but they also help to draw attention to the ongoing conflict and the struggles that Ukraine faces in the present day
