Tom DeLonge, former member of pop-punk band Blink-182, recently revealed that he experienced heatstroke during their recent concert in Paraguay. According to reports, DeLonge left the stage during the last part of their performance of “More Than You Know,” which is from their latest album “One More Time.” The musician shared a photo on Instagram detailing the experience, writing that he fell to his knees before feeling everything go blurry. After vomiting for a bit, DeLonge was able to return to the stage and finish the show.
Despite the incident in Paraguay, Blink-182 is still touring for their Mexico/South American dates, which had to be pushed back to 2024 due to Travis Barker’s injured finger. Once they conclude the South American leg of the tour, the band is slated to perform in the United Kingdom for a summer tour. Blink-182 will also headline the Reading & Leeds Festival 2022 alongside other acts like Liam Gallagher, Lana Del Rey, and Fred Again.
Blink-182 released their latest album, “One More Time…,” last year. Although the album received mixed reviews, the band’s loyal fans were excited about the return of the old Blink. DeLonge himself seemed to acknowledge this sentiment at the end of the album, where he asked the question, “2023, who the fuck are we?” Nonetheless, the band members are just as energetic and fun as ever and continue to be a popular draw among music festival audiences.
Aside from music, DeLonge has been focusing on his other passion: science fiction. He recently announced that he will be releasing a sci-fi novel on June 11, which has generated excitement among fans and followers of the musician, as well as those who appreciate the sci-fi genre
