French electronic duo Justice have released their latest single, “Saturnine,” from their upcoming album Hyperdrama, which is set to release on April 26. The song features R&B singer Miguel and is described as something the duo has never done before. It started with member Gaspard Augé’s experimentation with an E-mu synthesizer guitar sound, and he found the main riff, with the rest of the song coming together quickly.

Miguel said he has “been friends with Xavier and Gaspard for some years now so to finally work together and get a great song has been the best experience. Merging our sounds felt effortless.” Justice added that they “love Miguel’s voice when it’s raw. We wanted him to sound outrageously frontal, with no space around his voice. We felt confident we could make this work with a single mono take of his voice, and minimal processing. It also suited the theme of the song, that’s this sort of fear and loathing in Las Vegas sweaty, hallucinatory flow. Feeling well in feeling bad.”

The duo has previously released three singles from Hyperdrama, including “Incognito” and “One Night/All Night,” which features Tame Impala. The full Hyperdrama tracklist has also been released, featuring additional artists such as Thundercat and Connan Mockasin. Justice has also announced new tour dates, which will kick off in April. Tickets can be purchased on their website.

Justice continues to merge different genres and styles of music with their own unique sound, which has made them a standout in the electronic music scene. With the release of Hyperdrama and their upcoming shows, fans can look forward to enjoying the duo’s new music and experiencing one of their energetic live performances
