Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson has addressed the ongoing rumours that he will be the next actor to play James Bond. EON Productions is said to have offered the role to Taylor-Johnson. After being asked about the rumours previously and avoiding the question, Taylor-Johnson spoke about them in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. He responded to the question by saying that he could only talk about his upcoming projects, such as The Fall Guy, Nosferatu, and Kraven the Hunter.
Taylor-Johnson is best known for his action movie roles in Bullet Train and Avengers: Age of Ultron. He has also risen to fame for his role as the love interest in 2008’s Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Taylor-Johnson also played the young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy, which was directed by his wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson.
After being asked about his recent filmography and the physical requirements for demanding roles, the actor said he did not want to become known for only doing action movies. He also spoke about his fitness regimen that had him weighing in at 200 pounds of muscle. Despite having no clear future plans, Taylor-Johnson said he is confident in his abilities and feels like he can “fucking do better”.
Taylor-Johnson has been rumoured to be the next James Bond for some time, along with a few other actors. The reports indicate that EON Productions is waiting for his response to their offer. Daniel Craig recently finished his final role as James Bond in No Time To Die, which premiered in 2021
