After taking a break due to health concerns, Bruce Springsteen has returned with a bang, opening his 2024 world tour in Phoenix, Arizona. Fans were treated to a 29-song setlist that spanned his extensive discography, along with some covers. Springsteen promised to rock his fans into the ground, and he certainly delivered on that promise.
The tour marks Springsteen’s comeback performances with the E Street Band after postponing a significant number of shows in 2023 due to health concerns. Last year, he was treated for peptic ulcer disease that caused him to delay all his shows after performing in New Jersey on September 3.
Despite the break, Springsteen managed to keep busy, appearing as a guest at various events, including John Mellencamp’s concert, where they gave a surprise duet in March 2024, and at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala honouring Jon Bon Jovi.
The tour’s opening night was a resounding success, with Springsteen putting on a masterful performance featuring all his fan favourites. Although the Boss is done with the Arizona performance, fans can catch him in the UK and Ireland later this summer.
Springsteen’s return to the stage is a testament to his perseverance and love for his fans. He’s back and better than ever and is sure to rock fans into the ground when they catch him live. Don’t miss your chance to see The Boss live and in person
