Acne Studios has named ILLIT, a new girl group from HYBE, as the faces of its latest SS24 global campaign. The luxury fashion brand made the announcement via its official Twitter account and shared a short video of the quintet modeling outfits from its latest collection. The campaign also features a preview of an upcoming ILLIT song called “My World”. The song will be released as part of the group’s debut mini-album.
Acne Studios creative director Jonny Johansson expressed his excitement about collaborating with ILLIT in a press statement and said that music and fashion are intertwined. The reveal of the group as Acne Studios’ newest campaign stars comes after the band was spotted sitting front-row at the Acne Studios FW24 show during Paris Fashion Week last month.
Comprising Wonhee, Minju, Iroha, Moka, and Yunah, ILLIT was formed through a JTBC idol survival series called R U Next? The group is now housed under HYBE Labels subsidiary Belift Lab, making them the second group to be formed under the label after ENHYPEN. The girl group is set to make their long-awaited debut on March 25 with their first-ever mini-album ‘Super Real Me’, which will feature three other songs aside from ‘My World’: ‘Magnetic’, ‘Midnight Fiction’, and ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome
