Country music legend Dolly Parton has hinted that Beyoncé has recorded a cover of her iconic song, ‘Jolene’. Speaking to Knox News, Parton praised Beyoncé’s foray into country music with her latest singles, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriages’, as well as her upcoming album, ‘Renaissance Act II’. Beyoncé has also topped both the Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hip Songs charts, something only a handful of artists, including Justin Bieber, Billy Ray Cyrus, Ray Charles, and Morgan Wallen, have achieved since the charts began in 1958. Her ‘Renaissance Act II’ album is set for release on March 29, with critics anticipating that it will form part of a trilogy of ‘Renaissance’ albums.
Despite her many achievements in the world of music, Beyoncé has frequently courted controversy, with recent revelations about abusive behaviour on the part of her father, and an ongoing lawsuit related to the Ivy Park clothing line. Nevertheless, the Houston-born singer remains one of the most popular and successful recording artists of all time
