Guitarist and Guns N’ Roses member, Slash, is releasing a new solo blues album called ‘Orgy of the Damned’ that will be available on May 17th under Gibson Records. The first song from the record, Howlin’ Wolf’s ‘Killing Floor’ features Brian Johnson of AC/DC and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler playing the harmonica. Other musicians featured in the album are Iggy Pop, Chris Stapleton, Demi Lovato, Dorothy, Paul Rodgers, Chris Robinson, Tash Neal, Beth Hart, Gary Clark Jr., and Billy Gibbons.
Those familiar with the blues genre can expect to hear Slash cover classics like ‘Crossroad Blues’ by Robert Johnson, ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’ by Albert King, ‘Hoochie Coochie Man’ by Willie Dixon, and many others. The tracklisting for the album can be found below.
