The Great Escape 2024 has recently announced Kneecap, Lauren Mayberry, Wunderhorse, Lambrini Girls, and many others as performers. The Brighton festival is known for showcasing up-and-coming artists from different parts of the world. This year, it will be held from May 15-18. 150 new names in the pop, electronic, punk, rap, and other genres have been added to the lineup for the event.

Some of the latest additions to the festival include Soft Play (formerly known as Slaves), Bradley Simpson, frontman of The Vamps, Been Stellar, Fred Roberts, Love Fame Tragedy, Milk., and multiple others. For those unable to attend the entire weekend, they have also released individual single-day and two-day tickets. The single day tickets range from £47.50 – £63.90, while two-day tickets cost £92.25. Weekend passes range from £86.13 – £102.75. Fans can visit the Ticketmaster website to purchase tickets.

The Great Escape will also have their Saturday program supporting independent label showcases. Big Scary Monsters, Future Bubblers, Heavenly Records, City Slang, Chess Club, Secretly, Alcopop, Nice Swan, Fat Possum, and Fat Cat are some of the labels hosting stages. For the first time, Complex’s new music outlet Pigeons and Planes will be curating a stage.

The festival will be dedicating a stage to Festival Republic’s groundbreaking ReBalance initiative, which provides opportunities for women and gender-expansive artists across the UK to perform on stage and in the studio. The selected artists for this year will be featured, and ticketholders can learn more about the campaign.

In 2023, Picture Parlour’s unforgettable set was praised in a four-star review by NME, and audience members were treated to new music from The Pretenders during their UK club tour. The Great Escape is a platform for creativity and innovation, and the newly announced line-up is a testament to that
