British indie rock band The Libertines have released a new single called “Oh Shit” from their upcoming album “All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade”. The new song was written by band members Carl Barat and Pete Doherty and is described as a quintessential track from the band. It has a high-energy guitar riff and an upbeat chorus that includes the lyrics, “Let’s make some money. Just enough to get us by / I want you when you smile / You got the dollars in your eyes.” The song is expected to be a crowd favorite at their live shows.

The upcoming album is the follow-up to the band’s highly successful 2015 album “Anthems For Doomed Youth” and features their previously released tracks “Run, Run, Run”, “Night Of The Hunter”, and “Shiver”. “All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade” is expected to be released on April 5 and is available for pre-order now.

The Libertines recently announced a UK and Ireland tour set to begin in the autumn. The tour dates include shows in Dublin, Belfast, Cardiff, Bristol, Glasgow, London, Newcastle, and Manchester’s Albert Hall, where they will perform for three consecutive nights. Prior to the tour, the band will perform a series of in-store shows to celebrate the album release and headline the “On The Beach Festival” in Brighton on July 28.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Barat stated that the band wants to continue to write beautiful songs in the moment, adding “It just so happens that at this moment, we’re all facing the same direction.” The band’s members have different lives but found something to unite over their latest album “All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade”.

“Oh Shit” is the latest addition to The Libertines’ discography and has already garnered attention from fans of the band. With the upcoming release of their album and tour, it seems that the band’s loyal followers are in for a treat
