Drake has once again proved his incredible generosity by promising to pay off a fan’s late mother’s mortgage. During a recent concert in Kansas City, Missouri, while on his ‘It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?’ Drake received a note from a fan who was in the front row requesting that he pay off his mother’s late mortgage. After some discussion with the fan, Drake confirmed that he would pay off the outstanding $160,000 and dedicate it to the fan’s mother, Jennifer Schumer, who had recently passed away.

During a recent concert in Pittsburgh, Drake gifted a cancer survivor $50,000, and in Nashville, he promised a concert goer $100,000. In both cases, he expressed his love and appreciation for his fans’ ongoing support.
Drake has also been in the headlines lately for his controversial comments concerning the Tory Lanez/Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. Lanez was found guilty in December 2022, having been convicted of three felonies for his part in the shooting. Drake publicly called for Lanez’s freedom despite this, leading many of his fans to criticize his stance on the matter.
Despite the controversy, Drake remains one of the most successful and beloved artists of our time. His incredible talent and generosity continue to set him apart from the rest of the music industry. Fans can catch him on his ongoing tour with J. Cole, which will be making its next stop in New Orleans on March 6th
