At a gig in Los Angeles, The Weeknd and Travis Scott joined producer Mike Dean on stage. The show was held on 1 March 2024 at LA’s Wiltern Theatre. There were fan-shot videos of the concert uploaded on Twitter. Dean began his set with The Lure, the collaborative song he made with The Weeknd and featured on the soundtrack to HBO show, The Idol. Dean has produced all of Scott’s studio albums including Utopia.

Later on, The Weeknd covered In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song), a song from David Lynch’s Eraserhead. He then assisted with a joint performance of his unreleased song, Take Me Back To LA. The Weeknd and Travis Scott then joined Dean to perform their song Circus Maximus. Scott followed this with Fe!n from his latest album and brought the gig to a close.

Both The Weeknd and Dean have worked together previously on Beauty Behind The Madness and The Idol. Dean remixed Starry Eyes from The Weeknd’s 2022 album, Dawn FM. Together, they worked on four songs which feature on 4:23, Dean’s latest album.

Recently, The Weeknd stated that he is considering returning to music and teased his fans with plans for a sequel to After Hours and Dawn FM. The latter album was released last year as the singer’s fifth studio record. Travis Scott performed Fe!n with Playboi Carti at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last month
