Intellagama, also known as Hasvat Informant, has released a new EP titled ‘Reciprocate’ under Mama Snake’s Amniote Editions. Based in Naarm, the producer has curated an album that consists of wandering synths, layered textures, and twitching percussion that come together to form a pulsating and driving work of music. The release of the EP is accompanied by a limited run of caps that have spiral embroidery designed by Copenhagen-based studio Alexis Mark, which are sold at Proton Records.
The EP features remixes by Eastern Distributor, Heliobolus, and Spekki Webu, and Intellagama said he is proud to showcase his latest work and feels humbled to have Mama Snake and Tanya from Amniote support his body of work. The producer went on to praise the remixers, stating that they helped shape the EP into a release that spans a variety of sounds and styles.
‘Reciprocate’, which is available now, is more than just a music release as all proceeds from the album will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Intellagama said that Mama Snake and Tanya are a pleasure to work with, and he is grateful for their support. It is clear that he has strong admiration for both of them and values the shared vision they have concerning his music.
It is a notable achievement to release an EP and come together to support an excellent cause. We can only hope that other musicians and artists follow their lead and use their releases as a platform to raise awareness and promote positive change. ‘Reciprocate’ is an EP that showcases Intellagama’s exceptional talent while contributing to a great cause that offers essential medical and humanitarian aid to Palestinian children.
