The new romantic ballad called ‘Me Before You’ has been released by Bleachers. It is the fourth single taken from their upcoming self-titled new album, which is set to be released on March 8 by Dirty Hit. The new track is a romantic ballad which sees frontman Jack Antonoff reflecting on life before meeting his new love. Bleachers have shared other tracks so far from their album, such as ‘Modern Girl’, ‘Alma Mater’ and ‘Tiny Moves’. Currently, the band is touring the UK and fans can get tickets from the link mentioned in the article.
Antonoff has been producing music for Apple TV+ show, The New Look and has an impressive array of guests such as Beabadoobee, Nick Cave, and Perfume Genius. The guests for the soundtrack have covered songs from Florence + The Machine, The 1975 and Lana Del Rey.
Talking about the new record ‘Take The Sadness Out Of Saturday Night’, Antonoff said that the theme of the record is wanting to hold joy and not being able to understand why one cannot achieve that. He said it could be due to cultural, personal, or religious reasons. ‘Stop Making This Hurt’ asks the question, “If we take the sadness out of Saturday night, I wonder what we’ll be left with / Anything worth the fight?”
Recently, Antonoff called Kanye West a “little cry baby bitch” after discovering that West’s album Vultures was supposed to release on the same day as Bleachers’ new album. However, Bleachers fans just can’t wait for the release of their new album after hearing the charming tracks released so far, and are eagerly awaiting the new album.
