PinkPantheress has begun her UK and European tour in Dublin, Ireland, surprising fans with an unexpected performance. During her set, PinkPantheress – whose given name is Vicky Beverly Walker – was handed a prosthetic leg by a member of the crowd. She signed the prosthetic and then passed it back into the crowd, before posting a photo of the moment on X (previously known as Twitter) with the caption “yes honey” along with a heart-eyes emoji. A clip of PinkPantheress signing the prosthetic leg was later shared on social media by a fan.

The singer also surprised fans with a performance of “Angel”, a song she wrote for the Barbie soundtrack, which features a fiddle section. During this section of the performance, PinkPantheress brought out Irish dance group Cairde to perform with her. The Dublin audience were treated to an “iconic” performance, which has been shared widely on social media.

PinkPantheress’s tour will take her to Manchester, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin. She released her debut album “Heaven Knows” in November 2021, which received a four-star review from NME’s Alex Rigotti. The album “creates British wistfulness. The emotions and sounds are familiar enough to pull you in, and peculiar enough to make you stay. Heaven knows the boundaries of Pink’s talent to come.”

Despite her relatively new status, PinkPantheress has won the admiration of fellow artists, including Billie Eilish, who recommended PinkPantheress’s song “Pain” on her personal Instagram page. PinkPantheress’s music is characterised by a mixture of acoustic and electronic elements, and has been described as “whisper-fi”.
