Original ‘Star Wars Battlefront’ games being rereleased in new ‘Classic Collection’

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Star Wars Battlefront series, the first two games are being re-released. The Star Wars Battlefront: Classic Collection includes both the 2004 original and the 2005 sequel. It will feature bonus maps and heroes, such as Asajj Ventress and Jedi general Kit Fisto. The collection will be available on several platforms, including Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

The re-release will also include online multiplayer, allowing up to 64 players to partake in popular challenges like capture the flag and space assault. Players can also enjoy a single-player campaign, featuring battles from the first six Star Wars films and ‘galactic conquest mode’.

Nintendo confirmed two Xbox Game Studios titles will be coming to the Nintendo Switch: Grounded, set to be released on April 16, and Pentiment, to be released on February 22. This marks the first time either game will be available on a ‘rival’ console.
