Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris have been confirmed to perform at the upcoming BRIT Awards. The duo’s performance, scheduled for March 2nd, at The O2 Arena in London, will witness them perform their popular hit song, ‘Miracle’. In addition to their performance, Goulding and Harris are also among those contending for the title of Song of the Year of the awards next month. Other nominees in this category include Dave, Dua Lipa, Raye, and Stormzy among others.
Harris has also received nominations in two additional categories, Pop Act and Dance Act. Fellow performers at the BRIT Awards will include Raye, Jungle, Rema, Kylie Minogue, Chase & Status, and Becky Hill.
‘Miracle’, Harris and Goulding’s third collaboration, was released in 2023, and was the UK’s second Song of the Summer that year. The song was chosen due to its ’90s trance-inspired music.
Despite Goulding’s popular collaboration with Harris, the singer has had a challenging year. In August while performing at Portsmouth’s Victorious Festival, a firework was launched at the wrong time during her performance of ‘Miracle’ and hit her. Although she was seen screaming and covering her face upon the firework’s impact, she made a statement later through her Instagram handle, reassuring fans that her face was intact.
With a massive global fan following, Goulding has earned numerous accolades for her work in various fields of entertainment, including music, television, and films. Harris too has had an illustrious career in music, having received multiple awards and nominations, and has worked with some of the most famous faces in the industry. The two are expected to turn in a stunning performance at the BRIT Awards next month
