Award-winning filmmaker Bong Joon-ho’s upcoming sci-fi movie “Mickey 17” finally has a new release date. The Warner Bros. Pictures movie is now set to be shown in cinema screens on January 31, 2025. The movie is said to revolve around the journey of a staff member going to a snow planet for colonization but then is replaced with his clone.
“Mickey 17” is the director’s first film project since the release of the critically acclaimed “Parasite” in 2019. “Parasite” won Best Picture at the Academy Awards in 2020 and became the highest-selling Korean film in history.
