Legendary reggae band The Wailers have announced a UK tour that is set to take place in November 2024. The tour marks the 40th anniversary of the iconic compilation album ‘Legend’, a collection of Bob Marley’s greatest hits. The album was released in May 1984, and it remains the best-selling reggae album of all time. Approximately 25 million copies have been sold worldwide.

Led by Aston Barrett Jr., the current lineup of The Wailers will feature Surinamese-Dutch artist Mitchell Brunings on lead vocals. Brunings has often been compared to Bob Marley, and this tour is expected to be a nostalgic celebration of Marley’s music.

The tour will kick off in Newcastle on November 13 and run through ten more dates, ending at Bristol’s O2 Academy on November 25. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, February 23, at 10 a.m. Audiences can expect a fusion of nostalgic melodies and modern reggae beats, creating an experience that is both memorable and invigorating.
