DJ Chris Stussy has unveiled Chris Stussy: Uncut, a new monthly docu-series that takes viewers behind the scenes of his last two years touring, performing, and producing. Each episode follows Stussy’s journey through various high-profile events, including San Bernardino’s Escape Halloween, Club Space in Miami, Asuncion’s Safari Club, and more.
Episode one of Chris Stussy: Uncut is currently available to watch on the artist’s official YouTube channel, and it’s edited and filmed by Stussy’s close friend Tim Jonker. In the first episode, Stussy tours North and South America as the Up the Stuss label head, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle and challenges that come with being a DJ and producer.
The forthcoming episode will focus on what the Netherlands-based Stussy describes as a “landmark moment” in his career. The episode will feature his performance at Coachella, followed by his sold-out headline show at Sound, Los Angeles. Stussy promises that viewers can expect to see everything that goes on behind the scenes, including his music-making process while on the road.
Aside from Chris Stussy: Uncut, he recently released his new single, “Desire,” through his Up the Stuss label. The song was initially just a cheeky edit for his sets, but it unexpectedly became one of his most requested songs. The Netherlands native was named one of the DJs who defined the year by Mixmag in 2023, following his global success and debut at The Lab LDN.
