Swedish singer Zara Larsson shared her experiences of winning her country’s televised talent show ‘Talang’ at the age of 10 in a recent interview with The Guardian. The show is part of the global Got Talent series, and Larsson took the trophy with a rendition of Celine Dion’s classic hit ‘My Heart Will Go On.’ Despite having won the contest, the starlet shared how nothing really changed for her in the four years that followed, and she was worried her music career might be over.
In addition to the interview, Larsson recently released her album ‘Venus,’ which was produced in collaboration with Rick Nowels, who has previously worked on records by Madonna and Lana Del Rey. The pop sensation also gave more insights into Nowels’ rather tough personality and how they clashed in the studio, but eventually found a way to blend their creative differences, something she appreciates.
Larsson was also candid in another Q&A with NME, in which she spoke about her fear of the unknown, particularly about participating in Eurovision, although she is a huge fan of the event. The headstrong artist is currently on tour in the UK and Ireland, with the remaining tickets still available on TicketMaster.
Her remaining schedule includes shows at O2 Academy, Birmingham on 18 February, and another performance in London’s iconic Roundhouse on 21 February, and Fairview Park, Dublin on 21 June. Surely, Zara Larsson’s latest music album is proving to be a hit, and with a tour on the road, the singer’s popularity doesn’t seem to be declining any time soon
