Tinlicker share third LP, ‘Cold Enough For Snow’

Electronic music duo Tinlicker have just released their latest album, Cold Enough For Snow, via [PIAS] Electronique. This dynamic record features 13 tracks, including collaborations with Nathan Nicholson, Brian Molko, Tom Smith, Cloves, and Circa Waves. The creative mix merges the duo’s hallmark production nuances, amplified with seductive soul-infused vocals, and orchestral instrumentals.

Julia Church, South African producer and vocalist, lends her vocals to the track “Glasshouse,” a focus track off the album. Tinlicker describes this song as a “warm bath that you want to last forever” and focuses on the desire for that feeling of safety and comfort like coming home. The album’s collaborative nature has always been a crucial part of the duo’s methodology, and this release is no exception. The pair checks in with the artist during the creative process to verify the direction they’re taking and ensure they enjoy the collaborative project.

Tinlicker’s goal for this album was to create as much as possible with audio files and samples and use fewer soft synthesizers. The pair also wanted to challenge themselves to think outside of their comfort zone when creating music. Tinlicker’s Cold Enough For Snow album tour will occur in Europe and North America to show off their new sounds. Dates are available on their website, and the album is available for digital or vinyl purchase.

To conclude, Tinlicker’s latest album is a testament to their composition skills and ability to collaborate with many different artists. Their new songs, including “Glasshouse,” are sure to attract a similar following to their highly praised previous work. Their album release tour is sure to delight fans worldwide, and we can’t wait to see what they do next
