Electronic music producer Sarah Story has launched a new concept known as STORIES, featuring a record label, club series, and space for artistic expression. The name is derived from her surname and embodies the idea that everyone has a unique story to tell through music. STORIES will provide a platform for individuals involved in the club shows, label, and more, to exhibit and express their stories and art without any bias, reflecting the label’s commitment to champion the voice of DJs, producers, and artists worldwide.
To coincide with the launch, Story has revealed the details of the first club shows to take place in Birmingham, London, Brighton, and the Snowbombing Festival in April. Confirmed artists include Gerd Janson, Lu.Re, Matrefakt, Demi RiquÃsimo, and Serenda. Story plans to create her own community and provide a platform for new electronic acts to feature in the scene. Her intention is to showcase the sounds she loves and support the acts that truly inspired her.
True to its name, STORIES focuses profoundly on storytelling, transcending being just a music label or event organizer. Instead, STORIES aims to cultivate an inclusive community of DJs, producers, artists, ravers, and creatives to collectively grow and flourish. The platform is designed to bring forth a multitude of stories, ensuring each narrative finds its voice and resonance. Further details on the release schedule and additional showcases will be announced soon.
