Travis Kelce sings Disturbed song at Super Bowl afterparty, David Draiman extends invite to perform together

Disturbed’s frontman, David Draiman, has invited American footballer Travis Kelce to perform together with the metal band on stage. Kelce led his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, to victory during this year’s Super Bowl and was spotted partying with girlfriend Taylor Swift in nightclubs after the win. Clips have gone viral, showing Kelce singing along to Disturbed’s hit song, ‘Down With The Sickness.’ Draiman reposted two videos to show his support for Kelce and wrote that he is welcome anytime to one of their shows.

Draiman has been a vocal supporter of Taylor Swift in recent months. During one of their concerts, he brought two fathers and their daughters on stage and commented on their choice of attending a Disturbed concert instead of a Taylor Swift concert. He addressed the girls, saying, “So, I take it [the fact] that you came to the Disturbed concert, as opposed to the Taylor Swift concert, means that your parents are raising you on rock and roll […] Hey, don’t forget: Taylor Swift still kicks ass.” The crowd responded negatively, but Draiman fired back, saying he would stand up and applaud any pop artist that gets up on stage and sings live and plays a guitar live in front of thousands of fans.

This incident is not the first time Draiman has publicly defended Swift. He spoke favorably of her during a radio interview with Philadelphia radio station WMRR in August, adding that he would love to collaborate with the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer. Draiman believes that she is a real talent who plays an instrument and sings live. He also commended her for inspiring a new generation of music fans to appreciate real talent.

Draiman’s invitation to Kelce will undoubtedly excite fans of both Disturbed and the football star. It remains to be seen whether Kelce will take up the offer, but many are hoping for a future collaboration. Fans of Taylor Swift may also appreciate the continued support of Draiman, who recognizes her talent and the impact she has had on the music industry
