The legendary duo Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have unveiled details of their upcoming extensive North American tour. The tour, named ‘Can’t Let Go’, is scheduled to start on June 2 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will consist of a total of 30 dates with more to be added soon. The final show is set for September 1 in Vail, Colorado. Those interested in attending can purchase tickets on general sale from Friday, February 16, via Ticketmaster. A presale began on February 14.
This marks the duo’s first tour since 2022, and their first complete tour in over a decade. They recently released their latest studio album, ‘Raise the Roof,’ in 2021. The album features 12 tracks, including original compositions as well as covers of songs by various artists, such as The Everly Brothers and Merle Haggard. ‘Raise the Roof’ was produced by T-Bone Burnett, and the single “High and Lonesome” features Plant and Burnett as co-writers.
The pair’s first album together, ‘Raising Sand,’ was released in 2007 and won the Album of the Year prize at the Grammys. The album sold more than a million copies in the U.S. and a further two million copies worldwide.
The forthcoming ‘Can’t Let Go’ tour kicks off in June and will see the duo perform in locations across North America, including Nebraska, Illinois, Montana, California, and Colorado. The tour includes performances at large outdoor venues, such as the Wolf Trap in Virginia and the Gerald R.
