The Pretenders reschedule UK tour due to injury and add more dates for October 2024

Following an injury to lead vocalist Chrissie Hynde, The Pretenders have postponed their upcoming UK tour, which was set to begin in February. In a statement, Hynde revealed that the band is rescheduling the shows for the fall. Original tickets will be honoured for the new dates, with a refund policy available for those who cannot make it to the rescheduled shows.

The band has also announced additional upcoming shows, including a third night at the Palladium in London, Guildhall in Portsmouth, Connexin Live in Hull, and Regent Theatre in Ipswich. Tickets are set to go on sale soon, the band added.

Last year The Pretenders made appearances at Glastonbury Festival and BST Hyde Park in London. They also played with icons like Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, and Dave Grohl. The band is due to perform with Foo Fighters again this summer on select dates of their US tour, as well as at the Isle of Wight Festival.
