Australian electronic music producer Jensen Interceptor has revealed plans to release a collaborative album called “Jensen & Friends” on March 1st. The album will feature 12 tracks made across borders with other artists he has previously worked with and is influenced by works that inspired him. The musical genres covered in the album includes deconstructed club, electro, baile funk, techno and footwork.
Some of the artists featured on the album include dagga___, Nene H, estoc, Kenya20hz, Lawrence Lee, and assemblercode. He mentioned that these artists were crucial in helping him form new musical relationships and ultimately creating the album. Jensen Interceptor described the album as his way of commemorating those memorable times spent exploring and networking with like-minded musicians.
Jensen Interceptor’s label, International Chrome, will host the album’s launch along with its fourth party at Tresor to celebrate its distribution. Assembler Code co-owns International Chrome alongside interjector. The launch party will feature performers and collaborators of the label, including Kenya20hz, Dagga, IAMX, Lawrence Lee and Luwei.
The album can be pre-ordered on the web and will be released on International Chrome. Interceptor has since maintained a hefty schedule with his tour taking him around the globe, including notable spots in Germany, Los Angeles, and New York City
