London-based band The Last Dinner Party have announced three additional shows for their UK and Ireland tour due to high demand following details of their Autumn tour. Initially shared in January 2024, the London quintet will be performing their largest headline event to date at the Eventim Apollo. The band’s American tour will follow earlier this year to promote their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy.
The band has added a brand new show at Belfast’s Telegraph Building, joining further dates in Dublin and an extra show at the Eventim Apollo. In an announcement on Twitter, the group said, “We are delighted to say that our autumn adventures will be taken to even dizzier heights of frenzy and experimental trousers with new tour dates in Belfast, Dublin, and London.”
Tickets for the additional shows will be available from 8 am tomorrow, February 9. The Last Dinner Party’s full 2024 tour date are available to view online and include performances across the UK and Ireland throughout September and October.
Previously, London based music magazine NME gave the group’s performance four stars and commented, “Tonight feels like a glimpse into the next era of The Last Dinner Party, for which they’ll be hitting stages with a whole album out in the world. Give it one more week, and crowds will be reciting every word right back at them.” The group’s debut album, Prelude To Ecstasy, was released recently to glowing reviews.
