Prince Harry has recently flown to the UK to see King Charles following his cancer diagnosis. The Duke of Sussex landed on Tuesday after a 10-hour flight from Los Angeles and was driven straight to Clarence House, the King’s home in London, for a meeting with his father. A new picture of the King was taken as he was seen for the first time since his diagnosis, which is prominently displayed across most front pages.

The Duke of Sussex flew on the first available scheduled British Airways flight, according to the Metro. The paper says the King and Queen took a 30-minute helicopter flight to Sandringham, Norfolk, after meeting Prince Harry. Sources tell the Daily Express that Harry and Charles’ meeting was a “cause for optimism”. The Daily Mirror says the King looked “emotional” as he and the Queen smiled and waved at Royal fans during their first public outing since his diagnosis was announced.

Harry and Charles’ 45-minute meeting was the first time the pair had seen each other in-person in 17 months, according to the Daily Mail. It says the King was seen soon afterwards looking “remarkably fresh-faced and cheerful” despite starting treatment the day before.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the King will now spend the majority of his time at the royal estate in Sandringham, Norfolk, and return to London around once a week for business and further treatment. A Palace source told the paper he was “on his usual good form in every way, just a little frustrated that his condition has affected not just his own plans but impacted on others'”. Discussions are taking place to decide which public engagements the Prince of Wales could attend in his father’s place, but William has made it clear that his priority is to support his wife and children
