Korean girl group TWICE has collaborated with American singer Lauv on a brand new version of their latest single, ‘I Got You.’ TWICE’s official Twitter account has described the version as bringing a “whole new vibe,” while Lauv expressed feeling “blessed” to have the opportunity to work with the group. The remix is one of several versions featured on the ‘I Got You (Voyage ver.)’ album.
TWICE’s newest album, ‘With YOU-th,’ is set to be released on February 23, and ‘I Got You’ was released on February 2, serving as a pre-release single from the upcoming album. It’s the girl group’s third fully-English song, following in the footsteps of ‘The Feels’ in 2021 and ‘Moonlight Sunrise’ in 2023.
Fans were overjoyed with the Lauv collaboration, with many taking to social media to declare their excitement. The album is available for download through the iTunes Store, with other streaming platforms set to follow.
In the past, Lauv has worked with other K-pop stars, including using AI to create a Korean version of his track ‘Love U Like That’ with former U-KISS idol Kevin Woo. Speaking about AI in music, Lauv emphasized the need to embrace what is possible now in order to move forward.
