Eminem has expressed his desire to create a collaborative album with rapper 50 Cent. While speaking on his SiriusXM radio station ‘Shade 45’, the ‘Just Lose It’ rapper discussed rumors circulating about a joint album with his “best friend” and long-time collaborator, Curtis Jackson, who is widely known by the name 50 Cent. While hinting at new music, Eminem stated, “I’m working on a little something.”
Eminem denied knowing where the rumors of a possible joint album originated, and exclaimed, “We need another 50 [Cent] album, like, really bad.” Continuing, he stated, “50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour. I told him whatever the [redacted] he needs from me, I’m here. In other news, Eminem recently reignited his feud with Benzino on his latest track, ‘Doomsday Pt 2.’ The song mocked Benzino’s physical appearance and financial status, reigniting a feud that started in the mid-2000s. Additionally, Eminem requested a protective order against Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon, stars of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ as part of an ongoing trademark dispute last month.
The two rappers’ friendship dates back to the early 00s. Prior to joining Eminem’s record label, 50 Cent faced adversity when he was dropped by his previous label, Columbia, and later blackballed by the industry. However, his debut album ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin” was a commercial and critical success. With Eminem and 50 Cent’s history of hit collaborations, a joint album is highly anticipated by their fans
