Kings Of Leon tease new music “coming real soon”: “Get ready for ‘The Mustang’”

US rock band Kings Of Leon have promised fans that they will be releasing new music soon, called ‘The Mustang’. The announcement was made by frontman Caleb Followill at their recent concert in Mexico, also marking their first performance of the year. Followill told the audience new music was on the horizon, stating “It’s coming real soon, so get ready for ‘The Mustang’. It’s coming for you”. It is unclear whether this refers to a new song or album. The band’s last full-length album was released in 2021 and was titled ‘When You See Yourself’.

In other news, Kings Of Leon recently paid tribute to a Buckinghamshire pub where they played their first-ever UK gig, White Horse, after news of it closing down. The band shared fond memories of the venue which holds a special place in their hearts and facilitated their early career.

Kings Of Leon will be headlining at the F1 British Grand Prix opening concert, along with other artists such as Stormzy and Rudimental on 4 July, 2024. This concert is part of the four-day festival line-up that Silverstone racing circuit has planned.
